Our rate includes all care, transportation, restaurant meals, event tickets and other miscellaneous costs. We do not raise the rates for additional care, nor do we have ‘levels’. Some residents require more care at home while others are more active and incur more in trips and meals out. Your only out of pocket expenses should be medical co-pays and disposable briefs if needed. Of course if we go on a shopping trip the residents will incur their own shopping purchases and if they want to go to a casino, they need their own gambling funds!

The following services are included in our monthly fee;

 

Personal care; assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting and feeding as needed.

 

• All meals and snacks. We serve 3 meals per day with snacks in between but our fridge is always stocked and residents are encouraged to eat and drink healthy snacks as often as possible (unless on a restricted diet). 

• Restaurant meals. Any tickets or costs for events that we organize; movies, plays, shows, social events and other trips.

 

• One on one individual care for ailments such as exercising and massage.

• Arranging and accompanying to doctor, dentist and other medical visits.

• Managing medications including refilling and pharmacy pick up. (Families will usually make arrangements with our local pharmacy to bill a credit card for co-pays).

• Toiletries and incidentals.

• Unlimited phone calls, cable, Tivo and direct TV in each room and wireless Internet access.

• Laundry daily or as needed. 

• Hair cuts for men and ladies. Makeup, nails and other grooming. If they prefer to go to a professional salon or have a visiting professional, we will arrange and take them but they will pay the professional fees.

• We have a visiting podiatrist that is covered under most insurance.

 

Families are encouraged to join us for meals, afternoon tea and parties and also to use our home to create their own family parties. We will gladly provide refreshments.
